Every woman will have a unique and varied response to HRT. How long it takes to notice the effects depends on your body's needs, the symptoms you are having, and the type of HRT you're taking.

For example, if you're using vaginal estrogen cream, you can start to feel relief from the dryness and irritation almost immediately. If you're using our transdermal patches, creams, or tablets, it can take a few weeks before feeling the initial benefits and possibly three-six months to feel the full effects.

Please don't feel discouraged if you don't feel or see immediate results!

It will take time for your body to get used to HRT, and you may experience some temporary bloating, water weight, breast tenderness, and leg cramps as your body gets accustomed to the influx of hormones.

Additionally, if you are taking an oral form of HRT, you may experience some nausea in the beginning. All of these side effects are temporary and should subside as your treatment progresses.
