Blossom is a vasodilator cream designed to enhance the female sexual experience. It's created with a combination of prescription and non-prescription medications in our licensed compounding pharmacy.

It does not contain any hormones, and it can be used as needed to increase blood flow for easier stimulation and lubrication and to intensify orgasms. Its ingredients work by increasing blood flow and sensitivity to your vaginal area (clitoris and vulva), which in turn, enhances sensation during sexual activity.

Ingredients:

  • Sildenafil is the prescription ingredient that increases blood flow to the application area, and it's the generic form of Viagra.

  • Pentoxifylline is a vasodilator medication that helps increase blood flow.

How to Use Blossom

Using Blossom is very simple: It should be applied and massaged into the vulva and clitoral area as needed, approximately 20-30 minutes prior to anticipated sexual activity.

  • Wash your hands before and after applying Blossom.

  • Dispense 2-3 pumps of the medication onto your fingers - this should equal a pea-sized amount (at most).

  • Massage the medication into the clitoral and vulva area for 10-30 seconds

    • Rushing the application may lead to less absorption.

    • It's normal to experience warmth, redness, or a tingling sensation

  • Store your Blossom cream at room temperature, away from moisture and heat, and keep the container tightly closed when not in use.

Expectations

Blossom focuses on enhancing sexual arousal, but it does not create arousal on it's own.

Taking time to get in the mood, relax, and having a good mindset are all important factors for having a successful experience with Blossom.

Expecting instant fireworks immediately after applying the cream is unrealistic and may influence your perception of the usefulness of the medication, even if it's working properly. Blossom is meant to help heighten your natural blood flow and lubrication and intensify the sexual experience.

Blossom Cream may not work perfectly for you, or your partner, right away if you are anxious or not fully engaged in the moment. You might need to adjust the way you apply the cream or try it a few times to figure out what, when, and how the cream works for you.

Like all medications, there is a chance that this treatment is not 100% effective for every patient or that it doesn't result in a dramatic improvement.

If there are other factors at play, involving other conditions, medications, hormonal issues, or relationship challenges that are creating sexual issues or reducing your libido, this medication may not resolve those issues.

Side Effects

Blossom is considered a topical medication, and Winona offers it as a prescription only. Some women may feel a warm or tingling sensation around the vulva and clitoral areas, which is totally normal and expected.

While uncommon, here are some potential side:

  • Redness

  • Dryness

  • Dizziness

  • Headaches

  • Mild irritation

  • Itching

Stop using the formula and call your doctor at once if you experience any of the following:

  • Severe irritation of the treated area

  • Dizziness, nausea, or pain

  • Numbness or tingling in your chest, arms, neck, or jaw during sexual activity

Avoid using this medication if you currently have a yeast or bacterial infection. You may resume usage once the infection clears.

Oral Sex

Blossom cream is not intended for ingestion, so we do not recommend oral sex immediately after application.

Once the cream is fully absorbed, (after about 30 minutes), there is likely minimal amounts of cream still present on the skin, so it shouldn’t be a problem for a partner to perform oral sex. As a precaution, you can wipe the application area with a clean cloth after a 20-30 minute absorption time, to help remove any excess cream.

If you know that your partner is allergic to any of the active or inactive ingredients in Blossom, avoid oral contact completely.
