Restarting HRT Over the Age of 60

As with all medications, the risk of side effects is compounded with age when starting HRT. For this reason, it's not recommended to start an HRT treatment plan for the first time after the age of 60.

If you have previously been on HRT before the age of 60 and wish to restart treatment, we recommend reaching out to your private doctor who may be able to help you continue your treatment plan in person.

Winona can only prescribe treatment plans to women ages 35 to 59.
