Adjusting HRT During Your Menstrual Cycle

Consistency is the key to achieving the best results from any hormone replacement therapy (HRT) treatment plan. It's recommended to take HRT daily, regardless of the menstrual cycle.

The hormones in HRT are prescribed at much lower doses than those in birth control pills and do not require a break in administration to allow for withdrawal bleeding every week, as is common with birth control pills.
