If a patient feels good on the doses of HRT that they're taking, there's no rule that says they should change their dose.

However, due to fluctuating hormone levels throughout the menopause transition, some patients may find that their symptoms change over time. They may become more severe, or they may subside. A Winona doctor may recommend an adjustment to your treatment plan to accommodate those changes.

Most women choose to stay on HRT for approximately five years. During that time period, your HRT doses may or may not change depending on your needs.

As always, your Winona doctor is your best resource regarding any questions you may have about your HRT treatment plan.
