Bathing and showering while wearing the patch is fine, but avoid applying soaps or lotions directly to the patch or surrounding areas. Please also avoid any direct shower stream on the patch.

Swimming with the patch is also possible. It's recommended to place the patch under a bathing suit to ensure that it remains secure.

If there are concerns about using the patch, an alternative option is the estrogen cream. The cream fully absorbs within 30 minutes and is generally a more affordable than the patches. During the onboarding process, discuss the benefits of each type of HRT with your physician to determine the best option.
