Should I have my dose adjusted if I'm experiencing breast tenderness or discomfort?

Some women will experience some tenderness, discomfort, or a feeling of heaviness in their breasts upon starting HRT - similar to the experience of PMS symptoms.

Because our breasts are sensitive to estrogen fluctuations, the discomfort can be a common response to the influx of hormones when you first begin your treatment plan.

The discomfort is usually temporary and will go away as your hormones become more balanced. To mitigate the discomfort, you can try analgesics, warm compresses, or a more supportive bra.

If the discomfort does not go away after 2 to 3 months, please message your Winona, doctor as you may need an adjustment in your medications.

Your doctor is always available for any questions or concerns you may have!
